Business of Yoga

Course Description

Originally, yoga teachers (and Gurus) had a personal relationship with their students. Their work was supported by the community both devotionally and financially.

However, North America does not have this type of structure set up and therefore, we as yoga teachers often need to learn some essential skills to successfully navigate a sustainable teaching practice.

But this can be a challenging paradox to navigate as the deep learnings seem to be in opposition with yogic values.

This course is my attempt to help you become a financially sustainable yoga teacher while honouring your authentic and spiritual path.

I came from a traditional format of learning and moved into the contemporary format of teaching. I have successfully been supporting myself with Yoga for 14 years.

We will cover six main areas:
Operations management, feel-good marketing, financial management, legal considerations, client and community care, your unique business growth and fueling your dreams.

There’s no need to make the same mistakes I made as an entrepreneur in the field of spirituality and personal development.

Create a sustainable and creative successful business whether you’re interested in offering yoga retreats, yoga training, yoga classes, private classes, an online studio, a brick and mortar studio and the pros and cons of each. we will cover it all.

This simple 25 hour program will help you to clarify the places in your business that you need support, all within a community support setting.
